Georgia was one of the last schools to offer O'Neal a scholarship, but that keep him from making the decision to list them as one of his top schools. His criteria is simple, he wants to play early (specifically in a 3-4 scheme), get a good education, and play close to home.
All of those criteria would appear to work in Georgia's favor but O'Neal hasn't made his decision just yet as Georgia Tech also has a chance to make a play for this coveted in-state play maker.
At 6'2", 225lbs, and running a 4.6 40-yard dash, you can imagine that no matter where he chooses to play (a decision is likely to come this summer) his other suitors aren't likely to give up their pursuit of him. Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee continue to heap lots of love and attention on O'Neal as well.
However, at the end of the day, I see this coming down to Georgia Tech and Georgia—with Georgia holding the edge.
